We are so honored to be a Real Wedding feature in BRIDES. This was a gorgeous wedding hosted at Liberty House in January 2023 and this piece captures the beauty of Taylor and Kevin’s day. The couple had a unique eye and vision for their big day and they accomplished it in the most elegant and beautiful way possible. According to the article, Taylor and Kevin were going for a vibe that was “The Great Gatsby” meets “Succession” and Liberty House is where they achieved that vision.

“I wanted our day to be sultry, romantic, a little dark, and a lot of fun,” Taylor says. “I started describing my vision and vibe as The Great Gatsby meets Succession, just really emulating that New York feel and vibe.”

The couple brought their vision to life through the elegant details they chose for the reception. BRIDES noted that the use of “oval tables were paired with black chiavari chairs while two long rectangular tables were surrounded with white oval-back seats. The room had red uplighting, string lights, and white fabric draping; overhead, chandeliers were covered with white hanging flowers.”

And the details did not stop there, “The newlyweds chose black tablecloths and napkins with gold table numbers, chargers, and custom name plates. Red taper candles placed in gold holders highlighted the pops of red in the centerpiece floral arrangements.” These meticulously planned elements created the most gorgeous masterpiece and allowed the room to be tied together as a true work of art.

The article goes on to mention the connection between this couple and New York City, emulating Liberty House as the perfect venue with a backdrop that is close to their hearts.“Kevin and I live in New York City and it’s a big part of our relationship and identity, so we loved that we got to admire the view from the venue and have a little piece of it with us on our big day,” Taylor says.
