Daniel Brunina

Executive Chef

A native of Virginia, Chef Daniel attended the Culinary Institute of America graduating in 2008. He began his culinary career at the Famed 2 Michelin starred Inn at Little Washington In Washington, Virginia. From there he went on to work at the Greenbrier in West Virginia and The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado where he participated in the Aspen Food and Wine festival. Daniel then spent the next four years in Princeton with the Fenwick Hospitality group operating Agricola and coordinating the launch of the Dinky Bar and Cargot. Daniel joined the Landmark Hospitality Team at the Ryland Inn where he brought with him his knowledge and expertise of whole animal butchering and charcuterie. His excitement for learning new techniques and finding the best food Hunterdon County has to offer is what drives him every day. Chef Daniel will now bring his expertise to the Hudson House in the role of executive chef. In his time off he enjoys hiking, barbecuing and gardening with his wife Sarah and daughter Vivian.

Growing up in Essex County, NJ and New York City, Raphaella has an extensive creative and business-oriented background and has found much success in sales. She Started out in the fashion industry at a young age which has molded her work ethic. This sparked her desire to create, design, and find all the little details that turn something great into something extraordinary. During her career in fashion she opened and owned three retail stores and international e-commerce stores. In planning fashion events Raphaella found she enjoyed the aspects of planning and transitioned to planning corporate and wedding events. She specializes in assisting with the opening of new venues; from selling events pre-construction, assisting with the logistics of how events will run, all the way through putting standard operating procedures into place and enforcing them. Her dedication to creating a memorable experience is unmatched.

Mary Beth Madill

Mary Beth started her hospitality career as a pastry chef at The Bellevue-Stratford Hotel in downtown Philadelphia and then owned and operated an off-site catering business serving the Montgomery and Bucks County area. Mary Beth has over 20 years of experience with corporate events, working at Marriott, Westin and Hyatt hotels in the Princeton area. Planning executive dinners, multi-day retreats, product launches, holiday parties… events and experiences ranging from 10 guests to thousands. Her goal is to give personal service on every level and represent the best properties. In her spare time she still loves to cook, especially teaching cooking classes to youth and people struggling with illnesses.
