How did you and your husband meet?
I transferred to Emerson College in Boston mid-year and didn’t know many people. One other transfer student was nice enough to invite a group of us to a party on an upcoming weekend and mentioned he had friends who went to Berklee College Of Music. The night of the party my classmate met my friends and I on Boston’s Mass Ave. and he brought along his roommate Ian—one of the Berklee kids. When one of my friends was running late, I told everyone to go ahead to the party and Ian offered to wait with me. About two months later, he asked me on a proper first date and the rest is, as they say, is history.
What was the theme and or style for your wedding?
Our wedding style was timeless and romantic with rich rustic flair.
What was your favorite wedding day memory?
My favorite wedding day memory was the moment I walked down the aisle. I was so overwhelmed with happiness and gratitude seeing our friends and family and then looking directly ahead and seeing Ian waiting and smiling at the end of the aisle. My other favorite memory was walking into the Coach House for the first time and seeing it beautifully lit up and hearing the songs we handpicked playing for everyone as they stepped into the space in awe. I was dreaming of how everything would look for months and when I entered it felt like a dream.
