Our History
Picturesque in its location at the end of Port Liberte, perched at the water’s edge Hudson House is New Jersey’s most inventive, contemporary event venue. With five expansive floors and over 40,000 square feet, and allowing groups up to 550, Hudson House is home to its own restaurant, two grand event spaces, and the captivating Stork Club rooftop lounge, all of which encompass some of Manhattan’s most stunning views.

Chef Matteo Limoli, Executive Chef at Hudson House, was born in Como, Italy, where he fell in love with the art of cooking at a very young age. He applied for school in his city, named Enaip, which gave him the possibility to make the first step towards his goal of becoming a chef. One of the experiences that marked his journey the most was the opening of Eataly in Rome. There he was for the first time ever an Executive Sous Chef in Massimo Sola’s team. He gained much experience in this role with having to prepare 3,500 meals a day and cooperating with 70 cooks. He is now the Executive Chef at Hudson House where his talents are valued by all, especially those who sign up for the cooking classes that he hosts.
