FARM TO TABLE
At Landmark it is recognized that fresh farm-to-table food means better food. From the restaurant to private affairs to extravagant banquets, our culinary team is determined to provide you with a seasonal inspired menu utilizing the freshest ingredients available prepared in a health conscious manner.

Landmark’s dedication to farm fresh ingredients goes beyond only purchasing local foods. We are committed to the farm-to-table movement by hosting Dancing Goat Farms, a local organic farming cooperative that grows vegetables and herbs hand-cultivated with organic growing practices, on Stone House at Stirling Ridge’s property, as well building the Ryland Garden on the grounds of the Ryland Inn. 

Our talented chefs are able to produce creative dishes that utilize the farm in the warmer months and amazing products from our newly built hydroponic greenhouses year round. Hydroponic farming is a more modern approach that has met great success with expanding the harvest into the winter months which means in addition to all the great ingredients Landmark already has to offer, fresh grown herbs and lettuces in the winter will now wind up on the menu.

HELP US GIVE
Frank and Jeanne Cretella, owners of Landmark Hospitality, strongly believe in working towards the betterment of the communities in which they do business. To this end, they have created “Help Us Give” or H.U.G. as Landmark’s Corporate Giving Program.

The H.U.G. Program allows 10% of sales from the three most popular tables in their restaurants, Liberty House RestaurantStone House at Stirling Ridge, and Ryland Inn, to be donated to local charitable causes which positively impact the quality of life in the community. H.U.G.’s fundraising efforts include hosting an event for victims of Hurricane Katrina, and NJ Sail, a program dedicated to teaching valuable skills to youth, as well as contributing to local charities on a monthly basis. Each year we hold our annual Snowflake Awards and Easter Egg Hunt, both of which host hundreds of Jersey City children.

As a result of the continuous efforts of H.U.G., the Liberty House Restaurant is the proud recipient of the “Good Neighbor Award” for the State of New Jersey sponsored by American Express and the National Restaurant Association. In addition, Landmark awarded the “Governor’s Award on Tourism”.
