Can you believe it’s already 2015? Here at Landmark Venues, we are so excited for a brand new year of beautiful weddings at each of our locations. Many of our soon-to-be brides and grooms this year are already asking about new trends for the new year and how they can make their wedding truly special. Never fear, our event stylists have you covered! Read on for our list of the top four wedding favor ideas that will be a hit this year!
Give ’em the Good Stuff
Especially after the New Year, most of us could probably say that we could use to be little healthier than we were in 2014! Instead of giving your guests overplayed candy or cookies, start them off right with a mixture of natural granola or gourmet nuts. This couple at Celebrate at Snug Harbor served up their treats in cute, mason-style jars and added a colorful touch with different colors of ribbon tied around the top.

Bring in the Bubbly
Instead of giving your guests boring match boxes or personalized coasters, why not switch it up a bit and send them some specialty sodas? This Liberty House couple gave their guests various kinds of soda that they absolutely loved! Being soda drinkers themselves, this was a great way to tie in some of the couple’s personality into their wedding favors.

Hand Out a Little Honey
For a rustic, country-inspired affair, small mason jars filled with honey are just the ticket for a cool wedding favor for 2015. We love how this Stone House couple, Tommy and Polina, included a cute play on words on their wedding favors! You can either fill the jars yourself as a DIY project or order them from a site like Etsy online.
Don’t be Afraid to DIY!
If you’re on a budget for your wedding or just like to get a little crafty, don’t be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty and make some DIY wedding favors! We love these homemade candy apples made by this Stone House couple… and so did guests! Be sure to make a few varieties so that guests can pick their favorites. Also make sure you practice far in advance… you don’t want to be stressed the week before your wedding trying to make 150 candy apples!
